My First Video Blog Post - Don’t Laugh!
Written by Khalid Al-Khames on April 22, 2008 – 12:01 am
After finally getting a webcam that works, I’ve managed to create my first video blog post. It can be quite daunting talking into a lens knowing people around the world will be watching! Anyways, let me know what you think! Apologies for the lagging at the start, damn camera!

Whoa!!! Major Scottish accent in effect!!! Haha… just kidding Khalid, it could be worse. You could have been cursed with an East Texas accent like me. I think that was good video post. Brings a third dimension to the blog so to speak. Sorry I haven’t been dropping by so often, lately. I’ve seriously cut back on my blog reading lately to get more work done.
That all said. You know by now that I like giving unsolicited advice in my comments. So if you are considering new blogs here is what I think. Consider going in a product oriented direction. Make your blogs product oriented or at least topics that lend themselves easily to products that people buy. In my experience, my sites which are product oriented have a much denser eCPM rate dollarwise. They just tend to make much more money than my informational sites per unique, visitor, CPM or whatever measure.
Sounds like common sense. I know and I’m sure you know as well, but I think it’s important to think about when embarking on a new project or projects.
